Should the stereo be backlit at night? Just noticed last night that mine was not illuminated at all. Is this normal or has a fuse gone? Thanks.

Wozza - Do the controls on the steering wheel still work with an aftermarket head unit? (volume, track change etc). I'm after a TV/DVD head unit if anyone has got a recomendation, looking to spend about £300- £400 max

well on my weekly run up to the lake district yesterday, i was getting about 5mpg more than i did last week. not bad. it probably pays for itself.

Just filled up my 1.6hdi vtr+ with this stuff and have to say that the performance improvement is very noticeable especially in 2nd and 3rd. I'm usually sceptical of these 'performance fuels' as my experience with petrol variants show little if any imporvement but this stuff is good although it should be, it was 7p a litre more :D . Gonna be hard to go back to 'normal diesel now. Check out this video showing two cars racing, one using ultimate diesel and one using normal diesel. it's booked in for next saturday. guy in service dept said it would be the switch on the clutch pedal. hope it's quick cos they dont do courtesy cars on weekends. :o

On a long run this morning, so i decided to put the cruise control on. pressed the set button and the digits on the cruise control just kept flashing. so i turned it off and on again. same thing, then the next time i tried it, the service light comes on. i've only had the car 5 days. Is this a common fault? People warned me that all those electrics in a Citroen was asking for trouble. Hope they weren't right.

It is diesel Mat. The 1.6 version. Gonna give the MP3 cd a try when i get home. If it works on Stuey's, you never know.

Hello all. I've just got my C4 VTR+ hatchback and it's a great car. Couldn't be happier. It's replaced my BMW 528 and getting 65mpg this morning on a long drag. Awesome. A auick question though as I'm away this week and wont have chance to try it. Does the single slot CD player play MP3's?. I know the multi-changer does but cant find any mention of the single slot CD doing it. Thanks
