Thanks for the info, the car is a 1.9 diesel, it shows up passed 90 degrees on the temp. guage and the fan doesn't cut in. I'll try shorting the wires and see if the fan works then. :(

:( I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A ZX (P) REG . IT OVERHEATS AND THE FAN DOES'NT KICK IN. IM HOPELESS WITH CARS SO ANY ADVICE WELCOME
