  1. > Only the green wire was connected. > When I disconnect that it cuts power to the CD player. Hi Andy, 2 possibilities come to mind: 1) You have cut the Green and Yellow striped wire instead of the Green one. 2) The remaining 3 Citroen wires (Pink, White and Green/Yellow) are incorrectly wired to your Sony CD player. Refer to your Sony instructions to determine the correct interconnections. If you don’t have them, try the following (this is how my player is wired) Citroen.....................Used For.......................................Sony Pink..........................+ via key.........................to...........Red White.......................+ permanent...................to...........Yellow Green/Yellow............- Earth............................to............Black Hope this helps. Steve.
  2. > Have you disconnected and insulated the 3-wire data bus > Can you make the instructions a wee bitty simpler Hi Andy, Turn to page 60 of your Citroen handbook to see a diagram of the Radio Connector layout and wiring. If you do not have this diagram, email me off list and I will send it to you. Cut and separately insulate the following wires to disable the standard radios connection to the display and vehicle multiplex. Connector A terminal 2 - Orange wire, A3 – Blue, A4 - Green. This will prevent your Sony unit interfering with the existing wiring. Three wires are now left in Connector Block A, A6 – Pink (+ via key), A7 - White (+ permanent), A8 - Green/Yellow (earth). You will now need to determine if the connector and wire positions are correct for your Sony unit. Connector Block B is fully used for the speaker wires only. The Remote Control can be pulled out by depressing a catch on the underside of the mounting. You will need to remove both steering column covers to do this. Steve
  3. If you go for the Modutop get the Air Con as well, the rear windows hardly open so you will need the cool air in summer. I went for the Sunroof and love it, noisy over 40mph but great round town. SteveL
  4. > Sony slotted in a treat and works lovely but the clock display > on the dash has gone mad. I fitted a Sony CD/MP3 player without problems, have you disconnected and insulated the 3-wire data bus from the back of your new head unit? You should also remove the steering column control.
