I dont really now the C8 but some cars it's easier to remove the headlamp unit then change the bulb and refit the unit

I was thinking that but when the active headlamps is off then why do the lights still come on? ? ? ? Thanks for the reply btw

My father in law has just bought a used C8. We have followed the owners book on the auto headlamps on and off but they still come on when the engine is running...regardless if active headlamps on or off?!?!?! So are running lights the norm? Also the previous owner says the light/rain sensor in the windcreen is iffy. How much to replace one? Hello and thanks.
