  1. Could also be as I had, the two retaining screws are loose, or fallen out and hiding under the seat.
  2. The wiring loom along the bottom of the radiator can fill with water if the openings are at the top, and corrode the wires. That can give very strange faults, depending on which wire is affected.

Citroën Service can be joined and used for free to look at exploded views and part numbers. The drawings can be saved by right-clicking to save as pictures. The drawings with part numbers can be saved with the ‘print screen’ key at top right. http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/9397/k2410250tr0.th.jpg http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/5336/k029001241025ir0.th.jpg
  4. The lower part of the metal retaining clip gets pushed to the right, to release the top part to the left, probably with a good helping of WD40. It’s usually the plastic elbow of the inlet pipe, the right one, that splits and leaks. Normally, the whole assembly with hoses has to be replaced, at an extortionate cost. The drawing shows the original at top, and the compatible, cheaper, later replacement at bottom. http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q23/Clogzz/th_Heater_hoses.jpg http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q23/Clogzz/th_Heater_inlets.jpg http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q23/Clogzz/th_Heater_and_hoses.jpg
  5. No, switch the hazard warning switch a good few times to clean the contacts, and it will come good. The indicator current passes through the hazard flasher switch, and it suffers from lack of use.
