Yes, the fan stays on at full speed. The garage how diagnosed it could not find the problem. I have to disconnect it when stopped otherwise it will run the battery down. £130 down already and no closer to getting a solution.

Thanks I the 30amp fuse was replaced but the fan is flat out all the time so I have had to unplug it, does this mean it is had naked and needs replacing. Also if I have to replace the fan motor do I need to replace the lot or just the motor. Any idea of cost. If the blower motor is broken should it still run????

Can anyone tell me which fuse is the one for the coolant fan (radiator). The fan works when tested with live although will not work when bypassing the temperature switch. Does the fuse only work the coolant fan if so which fuse is it. Thanks

So the fan should have started when I bypassed the top sensor. Could it be the fan motor has gone?

Tried to bypass the top switch yesterday (green coloured) and the dash gauges showed over heating but the fan did not start. Also tried a black switch on the side but the engine would not start when this was bypassed. Should the fan have started when bypassing the green switch on top?. :D Any more ideas Thanks Richie
