Hi, Just registered on this site and I'm hoping that somebody on here could help me out! I recently purchased a 1998 Saxo vtr (vry lw genuine mileage of 53000k backed up by 10 years worth of MOT certificates) its now developed a problem starting. In the morning (or when the engine is cold) it will gnerally start first or second time, but if i drive for a few mins stop the car and try to start again it'll take up to ten attempts to start. It sounds like the starter motor is spinning fine but the engine not cranking. The fuel pump seems to prime ok, I've replaced the oil and filter, replaced the coil pack and the alternator, have a crank sensor on order. Hope I've given enough info here and really hope somebody can help me. Thanks in advance!!!
