  1. Hello All, I drove for the first time a C3 (52, 2003 model 1.4SX) last night, it was a friends car they had just bought and I was driving back from the garage to their home for them. I just wanted to check if the way the clutch pedal/accelerator pedal biting point worked was normal. There seemed to be a mechanism that prevented the accelerator pedal being depressed more that about 1/2 way down when the clutch pedal was pressed, then when you got the biting point and released the clutch you could feel something disengage in the pedal box and then you could fully depress the accelerator pedal. I presumed it was there to prevent people burning out the clutch and after a few minutes of driving it presented no problems and I could happly pull away on hill starts even if the hills were steep. I just wondered if this was a normal thing to happen for a C3 or it is a fault with the pedal box? Thanks.
