thanks for the reply. They have looked at this and say its fine. It's going back again midweek, they say they think it's grit in the brakes (or somethihng along those lines) and it's going to cost as its not covered by warranty. They reckon its quite common on c1's and c2's too. Does this sound right? Thanks again

Hi All, Wonder whether anyone can point me in the right direction. I have an 06 C3 1.4 HDI thats done about 10,000 miles. Recently there has been a screeching noise that only seems to happen when the cars been on a run, it gets worse when driving round bends or steering and in the damp but seems to happen in the end regardless. At slow speeds and town driving there is a softer sound that is almost like a light tinkling screech of that makes any sense. The car is in warranty and has been back to the garage who say they have had a look but can't find anything wrong. The noise is driving me nuts and I'm about to take it back again as I have a long drive to France coming up. Has anyne else experienced this? or have any idea what this is? Thanks,
