hi everyone ive just been reading through other posts, can someone tell me what lumpy tickover is please, i really am interested,no honestly, i know i probably sound thick and no im not blonde! just want to join in with the lingo, so far my main worry is what colour my car is, does the cd work?[no!!] have i got a matching aerial topper and whats that burning smell,oh thats my clutch!!! thanks joey xxx.

thanks for your reply, i know the players aren't very expensive as ive found one for £47.00 free delivery but its kind of got to the point where i don;t want to let this car dealer fob me off, i was promised this before i handed over my old car and money, he also promised a spare key from a citroen dealer as there was only one key {this has never been sorted } i feel like im dealing with arthur daley!!!!so i cant let it go now as i think he thinks i will just get bored and go buy one, well i won't. so thanks for your help and will keep you posted as to my success or failure!! joey

hello yes its me again and yes youve guessed it the cd was knackered, i got the beep sorted and tested it out and the cd wont even turn. so the garage is now saying ive got to wait until they buy a nother picasso so i can change it over ,so i'll have to get the beep done again,happy days indeed. all i wanted was the original cd to work and my steering remote controls to work! my husband has gone mad and said i shouldnt have messed with it in the first place so wish me luck third time lucky?? joey :blink: xxxx

hi the garage has fitted my cd and its beeping so they are going to code it for me today, my question is why does it keep asking for a cd to be loaded on the displey when i have already loaded one? has this got anything todo with the fact that it needs coding so disc cant be read or is it knackered? please help me out cos im sick of dealing with this garage who took 7 hr to get round to fitting this cd yesterday, i cant bear the thought of having to go back to them cos the cd now wont work thanks joey22

hi im new to all this so here goes, i have recently brought a xsara picasso which i love,its a 52 plate 1.6 sx model when i test drove it i noticed the cd had been replaced with a panasonic face off cd ,i knew that meant the steering column controls would now be useless so i asked if i could have it swapped over with a standard citroen cd, the guy said yes when we get one in,ive had to wait till now and they have just had an x reg in, ive now got to wait for him to check if it is compatible with mine, i dont think i trust them much as they have been stringing me along for about 8 weeks now so i thought id ask people who know so i can find out. thanks
