Fitted the towbar today but the electrics have got me. It is 12 N rear Audible relay electrics that i am trying to fit Fitted to the outside, under the car at the opposite side to the exaust there is a Grey male clip/box with electric wires going into it but nothing coming out of it. The wires going in are coloured Pink, Yellow, (Orange*, Grey*), White and Brown. I have followed theese wires back into the boot and into the area behind the drivers side rear lights. It is covered in black shrink wrap at this area. the wires then show themselves and travel along towards the front of the car. Following it further back the wires a re coloured (Red* Green*) Yellow White Pink, and Brown. I got confused at this point as two of the wires had changed colour, i can only surpose that there has been a join made somewhere within the shrink wrap area but the total number of wires are still the same. Is the grey Box/Clip under the car a fitting to put towbar electrics on to, if so what would the name of the female clip be that i would require? If it is not where the towbar electrics go onto then where in the wires should i splice into to make the connecrtions and what colours would go with what. The 12n Socket pin configuration is wired like this. Yellow (LH Indicator) Green (RH Indicator) Blue (Fog Lights) Brown (RH Side Lights) Red (Brake Lights) Black (LH Side Light) wHITE (Vehicle Earth) I would appreciate any help you could give on this unfortunatly i dont know if the car is multiplexed or not how would you know or find out? Hi Just about to fit a witter towbar to my citroen xsara estate, but haven't a clue where the wiring harness is to fit the electrics :blink: . I know it may seem silly but can anyone point me in the right direction Many Thanks
