The entire electrical power on our 2005 petrol C8 cuts out (completely) from time to time. It's not a frequent fault - maybe it happens twice a year - and it happens at no particular time (ie not particularly when the engine is cold / etc etc). Obviously this then disables the power steering - and, when it happened last week, my wife steered and the steering wheel actually locked (like it does when you turn the wheel when the car is switched off). Any ideas ?
