  1. Hey everyone, Is there any chance of getting the owners manual in .PDF format? Of course mine is in Polish. Does anyone know if it's available anywhere? Cheers, Mike
  2. Thanks Ham 'n' Fred  I hope it's not a cut and weld job!!! Is this the record for the worst bang within 5 days of receiving a shiney new C4? I really hope the shrinkage is not caused by the cold weather, I experienced -35C in Feb of this year, hate to think what it'd do...
  3. I really enjoyed driving the C4 over the weekend. In fact I'm thinking of any opportunity to go for a drive at the moment, even popping out to Tesco's now has it's appeal :( For the record this Bear Lock thingy I was referring to is a gearbox locking mechanism that's stopping a lot of car thefts here in Poland, (and there are a lot!). It consists of a metal rod that you insert into a chamber on the passenger side of the gearbox (gear must be in reverse). Twist the key (one of 3 supplied) and the rod pops out. Has a Rod holder fitted just under the glove box too. Not sure if it's available in the UK yet but it's a professional job and it'll ensure's the car won't be driven away even if someone gets in there. I've added a link if anyone's interested and they do have an english page. http://www.niedzwiedz-lock.pl/enblokada.php Cheers, Mike
  4. Cheers Stuey, I was sceptical going for the citroen what with their reliability record in the past. My previous two cars in the UK were an imported Mitsu FTO GPX and a Lexus IS 200 SE. Build quality on the VTR is impressive so far, nothing falling off although the tray under the passenger seat is a bit of a bugger and feels a bit flimsy, aside from that I'm well impressed. Me and the misus drove to Zakopane, (hightest mountain region in Poland) over the weekend, put 1200km's on the clock already :( Wozza, thanks for the opinion. Maybe I can get the garage to just do it and I'll pay for it myself. Cheers lads, Mike
  5. Ok, so here we have three close ups courtesy of my phonecam. Looks worse to me now :( http://aycu35.webshots.com/image/4434/2003996597818119311_rs.jpg http://aycu35.webshots.com/image/4434/2003955391618878708_rs.jpg http://aycu32.webshots.com/image/3471/2003904531884099220_rs.jpg
  6. Cheers for the quick response Wozza and cheers for editing the topic. The dent on mine is actually on the door seal just under the side strips. No scratches at all on the door panel or front wing. will take a pic and post it later. 350 isn't so bad, not sure what it'll do to my insurance as I'm paying a fair bit already. thanks for the welcome too... :(
  7. Hi Everyone, I took delivery on Friday of my first ever Citroen, Silver 1.6 VTR Pack. I must say I'm really impressed with it. Paid just over 10k for her after all the discounts and the dealer even installed a Bear-Lock (for the gearbox) and threw in some free mats. I'm currently living in Poland and the roads here are worse than any back road you can dream of finding in the UK. I will certainly be able to update you on how she handles in snow and I mean real snow... :P This model (features sheet) states the CD player should support MP3 but mine don't so I'm going back to the dealer to sort that out. One TO$$ER ran down the side of the car while it was parked last night and now the door seal just behind the front passengers wheel has a bit of a dent in it. Does anyone have an idea of how expensive (in the UK or Europe) this will be to fix? Cheers everyone... P.S. just noticed I typed VTS in the header, clearly wishful thinking on my part... :(
