Thanks for that. Now I'll go and get the Haynes book, I just didn't want to spend £18 on a book that would be of no use. ;)

Hi all. I have a 2001 model (facelift) Xsara 1.6i 16v. I emailed Haynes about the workshop manual for the newer model Xsara, and asked whether the book for the older model (up to 2000 / W reg) would be ok, and whether they were going to do a book for the newer model. The reply from Haynes was that they do not do, and do not plan to do, a book for the newer model. Very helpful of them!! Not!!
