anyone in the owners club want to take on my much used 1999 2.0 hdi? cant be bothered with mot ing it again, so have bought another car, its done 165k, but the drive sytem is good for another 50k, selling the full car for 250 quid, lots of new, or not so old bits on it, it should mot for 200quid!! this car has been a great friend, but now, afer 7 years, its time to go, pick up from oldham, lancs email me on alan.cantwell@ntlworld.com

HI GUYS, my getting old 2.0hdi estate wont light up the brake lights in the tailgate, the top, horizontal one comes on (just as well!!!) any ideas of the problem? could it be the foot switch, on the pedal? i have looked there, and there are 2 leads going into spade connectors, does one do the top light, and tuther do the tailgate ones?? cannot see any wiring breaks, all the other tailgate lights work, 138000 miles, not run in yet :rolleyes:

as no-one obviously had a clue, i did some digging, and found the fault, the loom that runs up the rear pillar, into the tailgate had fractured, one light wire, and the rear heated screen wire where KAPUTT, all fixed now, car MOTd, and running like a dream, with 135,000 on the clock--HARDLY RUN IN

HI GUYS!!! i have a xantia 2.0 HDIestate, in the tailgate, are some rear lights, the right hand one does not work, neither does the front left hand sidelight, or the left hand number plate light, i suspect the heated rear screen is U/S as well, an electrician tells me the car has modules, that go from time to time, if it has, where are they? i have been through the fuses, all this did, was show me they are ok, and stop the radio going off with the ignition, its on now, till i switch it off myself---very annoying!! does anyone have any ideas? its MOT time in 2 weeks, and i dont want it to go to the auto sparks, thats DEAR <_<

anyone know the best place, and price to get a fuel pump, for a 1999 2.0hdi estate? mine got home on a low loader this morning B)
