My C1 sounds like an automatic! The clutch at 55K is slipping badly and I need to change it. Can't find any detail on this. I suspect, like the Peugeot 206 and the Citroen AX it is relatively easy with perhaps smaller bits? The exhaust noise is interesting. Sounds more like a hairy "six". Very nice. Fuel consumption appears to be about 50mpg with town use and fast cruise. Lower at 55mph it gives 62mpg. So much for the much vaunted 68mpg!!!! The AX was supposed to give 72mpg but only produced 48mpg. The C1 appears very sensitive to tyre pressures which can affect handling and consumption a lot.
