No I will wait till I sell the VXR because I want to add some extras on so I need the funds from the sale, especially with Christmas coming up and five kids in the house, and I doubt work will see a panoramic sunroof as an essential :P Maybe I can stretch them to buy it with sat nav as I'll be doing loads of travelling though.

Yeah I priced it well under what it's worth. The VXR's are quite exclusive with less than 2400 cars made each year and the milltek exhaust cost me £1,200 on it's own. Hopefully buyers will recognise that.

Thanks, I appreciate that ;) The faster I sell it the better. There's a couple of guys doing their best to come up with the funds and also the Vauxhall dealers offered me a good price so if I don't sell it by the time the exchange and mart adds finished then I'll sell to the dealers.

What's your mate doing in the industry Wozza ? Coding, level building and design ? Problem is these days too many people have gone for the games design degree and similar. When I got into it I just done loads of free mods for games. Worked with teams of guys just building our own little games and releasing them FOC just to get noticed. Once again, so many people are doing this now so it's still a hard route to take but that's what I'd do. At least get a couple of demos out there and maybe send a sample off to the developers as long as it's top quality they will recognise that.

Dynos do not show the VXR's true bhp figures as the car has a limiter that cut's in and prevents it from reaching full power on a RR. I am not gonna state a higher figure than what is shown on the RR graph though, that would be silly of me. I am buying the C4 VTs diesel to replace the vxr mate. Better fuel consumption is the main reason as the company want me to get a car I can use to travel the country taking photos for textures so it needs to be economical.

Well I am biased so I'd say the Astra VXR, but the ST was the other choice when I bought it, along with the Golf GTi. Ignore old reviews of the vxr because it had the preproduction chasis so got slated by idiots who couldn't see past the fact it was just an example. New reviews have forced those same people to have a change of heart and it really is a fun car to drive especially after a remap and full performance exhaust. But doing that adds nearly 2k onto the price. Tyre wear depends on driving, it's not overly bad but having 264bhp going through the front wheels means if you're not conservative then they will wear fast. Rear tyres are like new still. I am selling my vxr for a stupid price right now, I don't actually want to sell it but I was offered money for a new car from work and I could not refuse the offer as they are buying it outright for me and the vxr will be surplus to requirements. The reason the price is so low is because I don't want to sell and a high price would mean a possible longer wait and I don't want to change my mind, I just want to get it over and done with.

Tell me about it. My VXR uses conti sport 19's and it costs me around £200 a corner, with the car tearing through tyres like there's no tomorrow I just can't keep up with it.

Nice one Wozza. 18's will do fine. I have 19's ATM and the ride is a little too harsh with such low profile tyres on, especially with the car in sports mode, I actually considered going down to 18's.

Hi again, Can someone tell me what PCD and offset the wheels are for the VTS ? Also do 18's fit without any mods if the car's lowered 30mm ? I would have thought they would because the tyres are lower to compensate but it don't hurt to ask.

So this bodykit can be ordered and fitted at the same time you buy a new car then so when you take delivery it's installed and ready to go ? What exactly does it consist of. The front under bumper airdam, the rear end trim by the zorst. Anything else ? Does anyone have the kit fitted to a different colour model ?

OOh, nice. Black is rather sexy when it's clean, red looks very sporty and the yellow looks very different, but good different.

Yeah I have them on my VXR (sill protectors) it's surprising how many scuffs they actually pick up so they do a good job, especially on cars with skirts.

Mud flaps eh, I know a lot of people hate mud flaps, but I think they'd look great on the C4 and that was another thing I was considering. Do they have any Citroen Sport style flaps for the C4 ? MP3's are important so I'll have to look into that one, I have too many cd's full of mp3's to waste them.

Yeah the porn thread is what got my attention <_< I have been looking around for tuning posibilities, I see Angel Tuning do a remap to 173bhp and also offer a CDA option with it. I asked at the Citroen dealers and the salesman said he has heard that there is a possible upgrade from the dealers which will be covered by warranty. What's the waiting limit on new C4 coupes ATM ?

Just thought I'd say hi, we are just about to go and order a new C4 VTS deisel and I was looking for a friendly little forum a came across this place. I already know one of your members. Hello Wozza <_< I told you a while ago that I have always liked the C4's, well now I am here to prove it :D Problem is, we don't know what colour to go for. The Scott Yellow is kind of appealing but I was worried it may look old fashioned. Does anyone have the panoramic sunroof, if so, is it any good ?
