  1. I have a citroen saxo desire too, x reg and my car has done exactly the same thing. How much does the relay cost to replace? Can I do it myself without taking it to a garage?
  2. Thank you once again for all your help. You are a star :)
  3. Thank you sooooooo much for your advice and saving me a packet. I took your advice and checked the fuses and you were right, the cooling fan fuse was broken and a quick change of the fuse sorted the problem out. I have a real nice neighbour, who gave me the fuse, so it did not cost me anything in the end. Hooray ! Thank you once again for all your help techbod'. gratefully Debz
  4. Please forgive me for being a bit ignorant here, when it comes to technical stuff about a car (I am a girl who just drives, can fill air, water and check oil levels ) but that is all I know about cars. Is this a big job checking the fuses and what do I do with the fan relays? Is it easy to take off the front grill? If I took it to a garage how much could I be charged?
  5. Hi I have a citroen saxo 1.1 year 1999. X reg. I just noticed this evening that the cooling fan is not coming on when I switch off the engine as it usually does. The red warning light in the temp gauge has come on and the needle on the gauge seems to be going towards the high side. (if that makes any sense) Please can you tell me what I need to do and if the fault is an expensive one to fix
