  1. I'll be interested in your results Mike, as I have an interior facia panel that has come loose and rattles and hangs down over the rear windscreen and just won't stay clicked in. It's on my list of stuff for the next trip in, when I get around to it.
  2. When I mine got there were two wheel nut keys in the glove box, I believe there is a little holder in there for them. If that helps. Best making sure you got some with the car, interestingly the reason I switched from my Focus to the C4 was because of an argument between me and the salesman about replacing nut keys that had not been with the car. And his solution was to sell me a new car. I think he may have won that battle.
  3. My 2.0HDi gets about 530-540 ish, out of a tank, with some left in there. My granny style driving and daily up and down the A34 help to keep that up, but thought it should be a little better than that. I say granny style, but I cruise at 70. Unfortunately, on the A34 this makes me the slowest on the road, excluding HGV's. Very interested in the use of bio-diesel, might investigate that.
  4. Was that Hartwell Abingdon by chance?, as they are my dealer, and that's a start to my research on servicing.
  5. That's a fair point to bring up, but I have established that's it's not the seatbelt causing this, in my case.
  6. Sorry, no, gearbox has been fine on mine.
  7. I have had a 2.0 HDi since December and have in the past noticed that, but think I kinda got used to it. I just put it down to some torque (or something) transferring into the structure of the car. Although, as I am not an engineer, this assumption could be wildly inaccurate.
  8. Much to my boss's annoyance, I have just spent about 15-20 mins opening and shutting the doors on my car. And whilst I didn't identify an exact problem, there is definitely plenty on evidence suggesting a problem somewhere. * Operating either internal or external driver's door handles provides significantly more resistance in comparison to passenger's door. * The sound made by the driver's door opening or closing is noticeably louder and sharper than that of the passenger's door. * Success rate of the driver's door closing fully is reduced by about 40% (this is not a scientific statistic as I cannot guarantee the amount of force in kN used to close the door in each instance :P ) PS. You can't imagine how much of a pillock you feel, when you have been stood in your car park opening and closing the doors of your car numerous times, only to turn around and notice that about a dozen people in nearby buildings are stood at their windows watching you (including the pretty girls from the office over the road, grrrr). I shall put myself forward for the position of Estate Idiot in the near future.
  9. I have noticed recently (last week or so) that my drivers is not closing so neatly and making more noise than normal when shutting. Have noticed that it's not completely closing more than normal, although, I have no evidence yet as to whether the latter problem is the door or my decreasing strength levels. I will pay attention to this, and if anything need trying/experimenting then I will happily join in. Also, mine will be heading back to Citroen for some more repair, and I will bring this up at the same time.
