  1. hi guys you have prob answered this but my rear suspension seems to have a mind of its own i have changed all three rear spheres and it still wont do as its told i have read the items on the height connector rod and if i hit it with a hammer it goes up ?its a 2001 and ooks differant to all the pics i have seen on here ? yet in the max hight mode only one of the l shapped brackets seem to be connected to the long rod to the front now am i looking at the right thing as in its a piece about 1 inch long and are both l shapped brackets ment to be connected to the rod as when its in its low mode they both seem to fit within the oval bracket . all your help would be appreciated . kind regards wes
  2. i thought i did all the fluid was out but there are three bolts on the front sphere and nobofy had a picture of the one i needed to unscrew i tried all of them yet i heard no air noise coming from them ? so i guessed it was blead ?
  3. hi guys hope you can help i have just changed all the rear sphears on my xantia estate inc the anti sag one i have filled the system with fuid ! now the brakes are really stiff there is no movement in them at all they are quite sharp ? the brakes have been re done a little while a go new hydro lines and everything does anyone have any ideas ? cheers for al your help so far . wes
  4. no that bit is out i mean at the other end .
  5. hi i did unscrew it first then take the sphere out but it was already broken ! ok how do you take the old pipe out then i have un screwed the pipe yet it doesnt seem to want to come out ? quote name='Johndouglas' date='Aug 30 2008, 06:26 PM' post='33564'] If you had used the search facility on this site you would have found the instructions for removing the antisink sphere. Those are that before undoing the sphere, the 9mm pipe union at the back of the sphere must be loosened first, otherwise - well, you know what happens now. You'll have to loosen off the other end of that broken pipe and get a replacement. Also get two new seals.
  6. hi guys just been under my car to replace all three spheres on the back end i have removed the centre ant sag one and i have noticed that the pipe going to it has snapped ? do you know if you can get a replacment if so how do i remove it as i have undone the nut yet nothing ? the whole self level unit is rusty as hell so is it worth just ripping the whole thing out and replacing ? if so does anybody have a walk through guide ? cheers guys wes
