baught the lights-- fitted the lights-- tried the lights--guess what folks? "THEY DON,T WORK" back to the drawing board.

I,m sure i read about this a few months ago. Am i right in saying you can buy the lights from a dealer (for a couple of quid), fit them yourself and get them activated on their coputer? regards ANDY

hi all i have a vtr+ coupe with standard head unit. i want to keep this "but" i have a 1000 watt fli sub with built in amp and want to fit it!!!!!!!!!!! do you think it would be an easy job? will it go in? or would i need to change the head unit.

what about oil change? i have a vtr+ 1.6hdi it has done 4000 miles and would like to do an oil change probably fully synthetic. do you have to use total oil for the warrenty?

A few weeks ago i went to my local dealer and raised all my little niggles including the poxy door handles sticking out. his reply was" there is nothing we can do about that". the other day i got in the car and shut the door (as ya do) then the wife opened the pasenger door (as ya do) the drivers door flew open and smashed against a wall, completely wrecking the door. i will post a pic 2moro. the dealer said "we have a fix for the handles now" i said great news what about my door. " you will need to claim off your insurance. (yeah right) i phoned citroen raised my complaint ad they gave me a case number.and after sending me for a repair estimate. i had a phone call off the dealer 2day he said that citroen will not pay for the repair work. but they have refered it to the warrenty god in france. the car is 12 weeks old. wonderful car but the problems and the way citroen treat you is not very clever. the bad points are starting to out weigh the good.

great job on the lights thats going to be my next project. it would be easier to do the side lights the same time. how much and where from. I'll see if santa will bring me a set.

I have the tom-tom go 910 which you can pick up for £399 it has bluetooth hands free, mp3 player and a 20gig hdd plus all the maps etc etc i am chuffed with it. I wish they would cater more for lorry drivers though (weight limits,height limits etc)

the dealer had mine for two days. they down loaded that work sheet and replaced all the seals and parts mentioned on it. still the same. I hope yours goes o.k. I have to take mine back on monday for a photo shoot. so i will dig the pollish out on sunday

I've been to the mullhouse plant where the c4 is built. it is huge. it has its own motorway into it. and i know at the time i was there they were taking 3000 trw drum brakes a day and they were recieving loads from bosch. they supply transport for the workforce. i was there during a shift change and we counted a convoy of no less than 30 coaches and that was just the chassis plant. I was impressed with their quality control BUT They dont think very much of us on this side of the tunnel MMMMMMMM 2 AN 2 = ? i go on a bit don't I ? ;)

i use a tom-tom 910 the signal is weak but just about works o.k. if you do have signal problems you can buy an external antenna for around £20 on ebay i think this can be fitted on the black mesh area by the rear view mirror.

update on car problems. i called into my local citroen dealer today and had a word with the service manager. he had a good look at my car and agreed that the panel fitment on the bonnet and wings is ***oops*** ! he wants to take photo's and e-mail to citroen. he said to sort it out he will need it for a week i think i baught a friday afternoon car :angry:

Hi all has anybody got a shark fin aerial fitted ? I see there are some for sale on ebay for around £30 these apparently work and would look so much better. I think the standard aerials are so ugly and dated.

You hear the wind noise from 25mph. took it to dealer. they replaced all the door seals and the external plastic strips on the edge of the windscreen they agree that it is still the same. they have now referred it to citroen uk because they have another car with the same problem !

Hi all I am the proud owner of a black 1.6hdi vtr+ coupe :lol: I picked it up on the 5th oct and already covered 2400 miles. although I am very happy with the car there are three things that are freaking me out. 1/ wind noise from the doors (which after replacing all the door seals is still the same and in citroens hands) :o 2/ door fitment against front wings (looking down the car from back to front the wing protrudes out about 3-4 mm (told citroen dealer and his reply was "we needed to adjust the door in to try and eliminate wind noise") :D 3/ the wipers are set up for left hand drive, leaving an arched line on the drivers side.(the picasso is set up right why not the c4) :( So far I don't think a lot of my local dealer (probably because i bought the car on line and expect them to sort out the warrenty work) Has anyone else had any of these problems?
