Mine had always had the RDS/TA announcements switched on, and btw on my way back home yesterday the issue came on again. :D I have tryed with 3 cd's and got the same result. I'll try today with RDS/TA off. Thinking of it now, when mine switches on to the radio it switches to the single radio station preseted that has the traffic announcements option. So this could be it. :D ;) Thanks everyone for your answers!

Ugly stuff Stuey! Hope you are pleased with how they managed to fix it. I'm permanently stressed out about keeping my beauty on safe ground. Guess the first thing is to watch out for all creeps and to be as much as predictive as you can. On the other hand, when it happens ... it happens. Today on my way to work it was just fine again.... Maybe there were just some connections out of place, and when they checked the whole unit, they somehow managed to fix them. Considering that...I guess they should have realize that...and not order a new one. Anyway, if I have somekind of a cause for this I'll share.... Hey Welshguy! Yeap. I'm still puzzled about this. I just think i'm gonna tell the guys from Citroen to call off the order. Today it worked too without any issues. Ouch! Bad hit Stuey (the pic)! Did you sort it our already? It looks quite damaged.

Hey guys! It's been a while since I last visited your formus but please, let me take you all back to this subject. My C4 VTR 1.4 was picked up on 29th of December, I have ordered an mp3 player also, and mine has the mp3 logo. :blink: The bad thing is that, after 4 weeks or so, the mp3 player started all of a sudden to jump from CD to radio after listening to a cd for like 20 mins or so. Another bug was that if I had listened a CD before turning off the engine, it would have started on radio when turning on the engine back again. I had no explanation for this and went in with the car. The guys said they have no idea and ordered a brand new one which will be replaced. The funny thing is that in the past two days, all the bad things seem to just have vanished. Everything is ok again. No jumping, no turning off issue, everything just perfect! :angry: Right now I'm quite puzzled about this issue, and was wondering if anyone of you guys knows what might have happened. Funny! The very same thing happened to me with one of my best friends in Germany when I showed him the car of my dreams... (the C4 I mean :angry: ) Thanks! I just think I'll not have them mounted yet to see how it's going and if I find a good reason to mount them till the first revision I'll do so... But first the car must arrive..... :angry:

Yes I think so too! Thanks for the info! But how would you qualify the use of mud flaps in C4's case? Are they really worth being put on? Personally I want to have them mounted too, but I've heard that they are not of such a good quality and turn into pieces quite fast....

I see... From what I understood, here they give you for free the mud flaps (which they do not mount......if you want to have them mounted you'll have to wait untill the first revision :angry: ) and as standard: the fire extinguisher, the medical kit and a special indication triangle (sorry I don't know the exact term for it)..... On the other hand they are forced by the law to do that (those three items I mean).

Some guys in RO, received their C4's with scratches on the dashboard and on the inside..... or ugly dirt on the ceiling... :angry: Others had their tapestry damaged in some small areas..... (so annoying....). They are not so many guys in those cases of course. Que: What standard equipment (mud flaps, carpets, fire extinguisher, tools...and so on....) do the C4's in the UK come with?

Good day everyone! The name is Mihai and I'm from Romania. First off all I have to say that I'm really pleased with all info available on this forum and hope that you will allow me to share my opinions with you about my future C4. Me and my gf ordered the beauty (C4 Coupe 1.4 VTR - rouge lucifer/wicked red :angry: ) in late November and we were told that it will be delivered in December. The car went into production in the 48th Week (27th of Nov-1st of Dec), and even though we are still hoping to receive it this year, I'm not so sure it will actually happen. For Romania's orders they also give here between 6 and 8 weeks for delivery, but considering that our VTR is slightly modified I expect them to deliver it with a certain delay..... Hope I'll be wrong... :angry: Anyway, like I said, I think you guys are doing a great job on this forum. Cheers everyone! :)
