I have had a C4 1.6 SX for a year now although after six months I noticed a very annoying tapping sound coming from the car. I went back to the dealer twice who told me that there is nothing wrong and couldn't find anything. Was it my imagination? I think not! :angry: Anyway I tried again and left the car with the dealer for a few days. It now seems that there is a problem with the 'tappets' and is not covered under warranty. The car has only done 5000 miles. Should this be happening? What can I do? Please can one of you knowledgable C4 owners offer some advice. Does the oil just need changing and maybe include an additive? Please help!!!!! :(
