    Headlamp

Help required, I have a C5 VTR HDi 2.0 on a 54 plate with what I beleive to be the AFL lighting (goes round the corner before the car does). What I need to know is where can I purchase a new lamp for it and what do I ask for, and again is it easy to replace without removing the bumber. Drivers side lamp has gone. Any help would be truly greatful
  3. can anybody help with the refitting of this device, I don't have a manual and am not sure whether the bumber will have to come off or not. Any help would be very much appreciated
  4. Drove the car home from work last night and tonight, guess what? system seems to be working now - but for how long? So if it is now working, then I would have thought it would not be a broken sensor or wire. Or am I wrong?  Please get back to me with ideas
  5. Say again in plain English please (basically, run through the process) :D
  6. Would it be at all beneficial to disconnect the negative lead on the battery to see if it will re-set the system?
  7. So, if that has happened, what do I do next about the problem?
  8. Well I don't know for definate that someone has bumped the car, but there are no obvious tell tale signs
  9. Checked that, all clear - in fact I went around them with very warm water (not boiling) and cleaned them to be sure
  10. I haven't bumped the car myself and there are no visual bumps, bumper in perfect condition, so I wouldn't say it has had one.
  11. On starting the car (C5 2.00 VTR) and putting into reverse gear, I get a message on screen that reads, Driver Parking Assitance Faulty, have taken to local garage and he's put his computer on but it does not give a code, it only says there is a fault. Any help would be very much appreciated
  12. Lots of pretty colours in the drawings - Far too techy for me though. And where do you suggest that I start to look for wiring rubbing together - I can just about find the dipstick and water bottle under my bonnet. Then theres a big plastic shroud covering what I suspect to be the engine You're talking to a real numpty here you know
  13. Fault Code is P0002
  14. When I purchased the car it had done 62500 miles and it had an engine oil and filter change, since then I have only done 3000 miles. I took it to the garage today and they put it through their machine with a result of - Temporary fault, Fuel flow regulating electrovalve Current consumption too high and they quoted me a new HP Pump at £510.84 + VAT and Labour Totalling £960.07 all because the garage is in Administration and they cannot access any Warranties I think I'm bad but I'm sure there are people worse off than me.
  15. It's a Diesel and I have only driven it 3000 miles since it had it's Oil and Filter change. I did a search on the site for de-pollution but nothing came up
