Hi all. Im a newbie here and after buying an old Citroen estate I am having a few problems. Before I go to a garage and possibly get ripped off can someone please share their knowledge on my problem, The engine tick over is fine and it revs fine. When pulling away from a junction there is a grinding noise coming from the engine (i think). May be exhaust is loose or something like that. I really hope some one can shed some light on this for me please. Also the car seems to hesitate a bit, just a tiny bit lumpy. I have purchased some millers diesel injector cleaner so will stick this in the tank and see if it helps. Oh, the light for the fuel gauge does not light up. Is this an easy fix? Thanks in advance.
