  1. Hi all I bought a 51 plate Xsara 2.0l HDi at the end of June, which was serviced and MOT'd just before I purchased it. This was done by my regular garage, so I trust that the work has been done. Yesterday, the maintenance indicator was telling me that I had 8,000-odd miles to go before the next service. This morning, the indicator is showing 0. I checked the manual, and it says that this can happen in two circumstances - that the time limit for the service has been exceeded and that it has been driven in adverse conditions. Now I know it's been wet this year, but I don't think we've had adverse conditions! I will check with the garage tomorrow that they did reset the maintenance indicator when they serviced it, it was showing just over 12,000 miles when I picked her up. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know off the top of their heads what the servicing interval is on a 2.0l HDi? The car's done just over 45,000 miles now, is there something that should be changed now? Hoping someone will have the answers! Juliette
  2. If it is a Xantia, I had a similar problem. As far as I remember, the ignition barrel (?) was changed - I ended up with a new key to start the car with. Hope this makes sense to someone. Jules
