  1. No, Citroens are not sold anywhere in North America apart from places like Bermuda, Panama, Saint-Martin, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, etc. See http://www.citroen.com/CWW/fr-FR/CountrySe...Home.htm?cont=1 So, how can the Pluiel be so popular in Canada when they're not sold there?
  2. Just got the following answer from the DVLA about whether the Sensodrive is classed as a MANUAL or AUTO from a driving licence point of view: A vehicle with automatic transmission means a class of vehicle in which either- a. the driver is not provided with any means whereby he may vary the gear ratio between the engine and the road wheels independently of the accelerator and the brakes, or b. he is provided with such means but they do not include a clutch pedal or lever which he may operate manually. If the transmission can comply with the above definition it would render the vehicle automatic and as such may be driven by the holder of automatic driving entitlement. However, if the vehicle has a clutch pedal or lever this may render the vehicle manual. I would therefore suggest you contact the manufacturer to establish their views. This seems to contradict what a dealer told me. He said that because there was no "creep" with the Sensodrive it was classed as a MANUAL car making it ideal for driving schools!
  3. louh, if you've gone for silver you might be interested in this - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...tegory=223&rd=1 They managed to get the boot security cover okay for the model!!! Dealer has just phoned me to say our car is arriving today or Monday, and we'll be picking it up next Friday (lot's of paperwork to do to transfer over my cherished plate). Thanks for the heads-up about the boot security cover - that probably explains why all the cars in dealer showrooms don't have the boot security cover fitted. In fact, one dealer told me it was an option, but it's clearly listed in the brochure as standard on both models. Please report back with any other observations about your car over the next couple of days.
  4. Expect a full report by the end of the day then :D
  5. What colour. We've got a Tuscan Blue 1.6 on order, build date has been quoted as 21st June, so we're expecting it before the end of June. We had quite an extended test drive and were very impressed with quality and rigidity of the body.
