That offer I posted details about was a while ago but the VTX was not mentiond as an exception at that point ....even trading standards agreed . Now bought a Huyundi Tucson..... I liked the citroen picasso we had a lot ..and yes great value ....but this Tucson is way better in build quality...so maybe they did me a favour...another issue just before I traded to hyundi was the fuel pump started to make a hell of a din (sounded like a electric ariel going up and down all the time ) ..with just 3 weeks left on the warranty they wouldnt fix it (excuse " the noise is not a problem as the pump still works")...so is that warranty for 3 years...or just near enough as they see fit...Sorry like the cars but Citreon UK are simply crap

The dealer was prepared to take it ,it was Citroen UK that stoped it all...I know its all interconected .. but the salesman did try.....But Cit UK really are out of order they came out with three diferent excuses but none could be qualified by their terms and conditions .(even the local dealer couldnt see a reason) ..basicly they wanted me to pay full price then would take it off...but its all so black and white £750 any deal you make on a new unreg Picasso...no exeptions that applied anywere ...in the end they just said no....and made out the VTX wasnt really for joe public anyway....just a load of boll*cks because someones cocked up on the paperwork...there attitute was so poor I was a bit stunned..the dealer said he would knock a little more of to save face if Cit UK would do the same....Sorry we cant do that quote here at Cit Uk we are obliged to make a profit....simple answer...dont send out promotions you cant hounor then...... idiots Off to Another dealership at the weekend......never buy another Citroen again....voting with my feet

Hi have just been into my local citreon dealership and with my £750 loyalty customer voucher they sent me and tried to purchase a new Picasso. Everthing went well just untill they asked Citreon UK about the vouchers when the salesman returned and told myself and my wife the voucher was worthless againt the car I had selected. I went home and read the terms and conditions and basically could not find any reason why they should refuse this....The letter clearly states quote You'll be saving £750 on top of any other deal thats going . and stipulates this against any new unregisterd Citreon Berlingo,Picasso inc C4 Picasso or C4. The car we were to purchase was a new unreg Picassso VTX with an advertised price of £9495 (bargain) The reason we have been refused by Citroen..... The car was part of a small batch sold to the dealer and was offered too cheap so they couldnt knock the money off as they would sell it at a loss.....and the guy from Citroen UK actually said we are weasaling out of this one with the qualifing vehicle small print. I read this again and it still does'nt mention this car as non qualifiying...only if it was special order...and it isnt that either. Long and short Local dealer cant find any real reason Citroen wont honour it...but I aint going to get the car This must be very poor trading practise by any firm especially a large organisation like Citroen Look forward to your view on this or has anyone else had this experience Regards PWD
