Have checked brake fluid level and switch both OK. It even does it when i am not in the car. Pete

My early 2002 1.9D Multispace emits a single beep at irregular intervals. There are no warning lights and I cannot find it mentioned in either the manufacturers handbook or the Haynes manual. Can any one help. Pete
