  1. It's taken a long time and has been alot of hassle, but I now no longer own a Pluriel instead I have a Picasso. I took delivery yesterday evening - so here's hoping for a new car that is not constantly back at the dealers with problems..........
  2. Well it looks like I'm getting closer to a resolution. I had already been offered an exchange to the full value of what I spent on my Pluriel in June 03, but I don't want another Pluriel and so have opted for a 1.6HDi Picasso with sunroof. After a month of tooing & frooing Citroen have agreed to that, with me being allowed to take 'advantage' of about 2/3 rds of the cashback offer currently available on Picasso's. I still believe I should be entitled to the full cashback offer, but am told legal action will be the only way to pursue Citroen for the full amount, so I've chickened out and decided to accept the offer and pay the difference - (the potential complications over my selling dealer having gone bust and me living in the Channel Islands, were a large factor in this.) The Picasso I want has an order number, but no production date yet so I'm still waiting, but at least I now feel like I'm getting somewhere after more than a year of hassle.
  3. Hi back again, I've just caught up with thie topic again and see I have some comments to reply to. I liked the blingo and would have definatley gone with the sunroof options as an ex plurielist. The drivng position for me was good as I like to see the whole bonnet, the only downside was the rear seats which seemed a bit uncomfortable tome. However, I felt I had to spend all the money I had on offer from Citroen for an exchange and make sure they allowed me to take advantage of the current cashback offers, so to make the best use of the money I have gone for a Picasso with sunroof. I know you lot won't like to hear that though! It seems from reports on the forums that Blingo owners are the happiest of the Citroen customers, you certainly seem to be the most friendly. Thanks all for your help and comments.
  4. Congratulations on getting your money back from the dealer, if I were you I'd bank it. It seems to me that spending good money on new models or cars is simply money down the drain and into the fat cat manufactures pockets. After my experiences with the Pluriel and Citroen I will never buy a new model again and am only accepting a new car - a Picasso - because I can't get a refund.
  5. I had to have whole body panels resprayed because there were lumps in the paintwork, it looked like small bits of grit had got applied with the paint. The paintwork was also unfinished under the bonnet and at the bottom tips of the wheel arches.
  6. I never had a main beam indicator on my Pluriel, it was one of the things I found to be a problem, but looking in the manual I could see no indication that one was a feature. Now I know different, thanks for the thread the information maybe useful to me getting a final resolution over my exchange offer.
  7. I have been offered a full refund of what I paid a year ago and I also expect to be able to cash in the £50 voucher for late delivery of the boot cover - my voucher arrived after my selling dealer went bust and expired before the new one was appointed, so I was never able to use it. As for a replacement car I never wanted another Pluriel and always expected to recievce the same deal as any new customer would - that means the price I expect to pay includes the cashback offer, not the RRP. I have decided on a Picasso and had got as far as trying to order one, only to be told that Citroen Customers Services must decide if I am allowed any cash back. So I'm waiting again...............
  8. What's a Modutop? I am going to test drive a mulltispace but can't find any examples, pictures or information about the Modutop - Can someone explain what it is and does?
  9. My Pluriel leaked from the start and despite many attempts by the dealer and even a visit from someone from Citroens technical team to fit the latest seals, it still leaks. My selling dealer went bust, so I had to persuade another dealer to take on my case and submit exchange forms to Citroen. It has taken 10 weeks for Citroen to agree to an exchange car, but I am still waiting for a firm offer as I do not want another Pluriel and so I need a value offer, that I can use against another new car. I have found that dealing with Citroen is a long, frustrating and difficult process..............
