Bizarrely the stereo burst into life about 30 yards from my drive this morning ! Does this just sound like a loose connection to you or is this some weird design thing ?

Have just bought a '02 Saxo and it has the standard CD stereo in it. Radio was on and working ... I turned the volume down to speak to someone and now have no volume at all. Display is on and everything appears to function apart from no music !! Have I inadvertently muted it somehow ? I can't see how ... Any help or suggestions appreciated !
