  1. will any of the Memoscan equipment enable one to reset the ecu when the warning comes up?
  2. Thanks for the replies, sorry for the delay in answering, mine is still running in at the mo so will wait for a few more k's and then give one a try. Thanks again
  3. I thought the ECU was linked to the filler flap/odometer, so that it came on whether or not the tank was filled, so filling the tank with the correct fluid or with diesel would not stop the light coming on, 'tis just a citroen rip off to get you to go to the dealer for a 10 second ecu reset. There must be a way of resetting it yourself??
  4. Have any of you good people ever fitted an aftermarket tuning chip, I am thinking of fitting one soon and would be interested in any feedback, they vary from about £85 (ebay) to £200+, whats the difference and do they work?
  5. Hello, same thing happend to me two years ago, the pump is situated at the bottom of the screen washer reservoir, it just pushes in. To access the reservoir you need to remove the offside wheel and then the wheel arch liner, I then removed the whole reservoir and replaced the pump, but from memory I did this because I wanted to strip down the pump, however you may be able to change the pump in situ, if not then the reservoir is held in place with one bolt on the inner wing and another under the wheel arch. Don't forget to undo the electric connector to the pump. Pretty straight forward really, my new pump was 15 euros (in spain) Hope this helps Russ
  6. Hello, I have just changed my second window lift, the cables failed leaving the window down whilst paying a road toll on the Spanish/French border, freezing cold!!! I got a new one from a Citroen dealer in Narbonne, 167 euros! only 15 minutes to change it, but it is the second time I have had to do one, the passenger side went a couple of years ago. Is this a common fault, the dealers always seem to have them in stock and the replacements have the motors in a different position, probably to ease stress on the cables, has there for example been a recall that I may have missed??
  7. I know this an old topic, but we are driving back to UK from Spain in our trusty 1.9D Berlingo, today I filled up with Esso diesel in France, and the fuel consumption has dropped considerably, I normally use Repsol and get good mileage, so there may be something in what was said earlier.
  8. Does anybody know if it is possible to purchase "part" of the remote key fob, the closing button on my fob has worn through, it forms the upper part of the fob, ie the bit you take off to replace the battery, don´t want to buy a complete unit, anybody know? Russ
  9. [When you say it does not show any current on the meter, is this just with the ignition turned on or with the washer arm pulled back, there will only be current when you try and operate the washers, the pump, if indeed it is that that has failed is fairly cheap, I bought a new one from a dealer for 19euros, easy to change. Russ
  10. from memory.. ignition on, but engine not running, when clock os displayed press and hold the RH button on the dash (under rev counter) when the hour starts to flash push the button on and off to cycle thru until correct time shows, then stop, wait a few secs and then minutes should start to flash, repeat as for hours, when time is correct turn off ignition, setting should be saved.
