I've recently purchased a Citroen C5 2.2 HDi 2001 for a low price (from auction). It sounded fine and looked fine so I bought it. We recently took the car for a service and had it checked out on their computer. However, their computer was not advanced enough to tell us exactly what the problems were/how to change them. We've been recommended to take the car to a dealer... but we also know how expensive this can be. The errors shows were: Fuel Additive tank empty (P1446) 3rd Piston cut off solenoid (P1135) Fuel additive system malfunction (P1442) Turbo boost sensor (P0235) P Recirculation flow (P0402) I Circuit A (P0380) P Errors shown on dash are: Antipollution fault, ASP/ESR fault and diesel additive minimum. Though the garage erros are more important, I suppose! The code things are just what came up... I don't know if they are of any relevance (I doubt they are) but I've included them anyway. The car itself, when driven, has a distinct lack of power - especially up hills where it just doesn't pull very well at all. Could anyway tell me how much this would cost to have all the above changed... if they know? Even a rough estimate would do! Please Reply ASAP as we live on a very tight scheduele and it would help greatly. We've been thinking about selling it due to the costs of having it repaired (we bought it for £1650 and have already spent about £250 on it!) If you have no idea as to how much it would cost to have changed could you at least tell me how much it would cost to get a quote at a Citroen dealer? We never really take cars to dealers (our other cars are oldish and relatively simple). Thanks for any help in advance!
