HI SPIKE. MY RETRACTABLE BLIND SAW AN UNTIMELY DEATH WHEN IT HAD BECOME UNHOOKED ON ONE END, UNBEKNOWN TO ME, AND WHEN I OPENED THE DOOR IT WAS BENT BEYOND REPAIR. I HAVE SINCE BEEN ON EBAY AND FOUND THE COMPLETE BLIND REPLACEMENT FOR £55.00. HOWEVER BEING A GIRL (MARKS WIFE ) I DECIDED IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO KEEP THE OLD BLIND PLUS HOOKS ETC IN THE SHED FOR A RAINY DAY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ONE OF MY HOOKS I WOULD BE HAPPY TO POST ONE ON TO YOU, I THINK HOWEVER I WILL KEEP THE OTHER ONE MYSELF JUST IN CASE I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM IN THE FUTURE IF WE EVER GET ROUND TO HAVING THE DAMN BLIND REPLACED!!!!!LIZ

Hi Pam I have had the cambelt snap on my C8 last week and been given the "needs a new engine" spiel from Citroen. I think going down the safety route is a good line of attack as my C8 failed at 70mph on the motorway with my wife, 4 year old daughter and 3 year old nephew on board.
