Hi all, I know this is a specific rather than general question, but having just had a play with the roof bars on my XTR (having found the extra long screws and upstands under the passenger seat) does anybody have experience of Roof Boxes attached to them. My first impression was that they don't seem very wide spaced, is there a recommended maximum size? given that it propably looks like some type of top heavy snail with a box in place :) having said that they appear to be very solid and up to the job. Halfords are doing a 250L box for <£100, any body got any opinions on this subject area. i.e. noise, fuel consumption, handling, security, make. thanks Potter

Hi, thank god for stim's reply. I went charging out to have a peer under mine, no cover. was just about to jump up and down in the middle of Evans Halshaw. ;) bought 2nd hand off their lot have now had 2 jobs done in 5 weeks. :D expect nothing and you don't get disappointed or as my students have said all week.. take a chill pill. :o Potter

Thanks Stim, I know you are on the picasso forum, and thanks for the help and opinions you put on there. Apparently the salesman at Evan Halshaw was wrong it's actually a 1.4HDI 92. I found that out by ringing citroen uk, who were very helpful :D anyway I said yes. so the pic goes on monday and the C3 comes home with me. I bought the pic to be a load lugger but I don't need that capacity anymore and then Gordon Brown took £15 off the road fund. I might actually have won for once :unsure: given the pic does as little as 25mpg round town, the change is a no brainer :) I know, shouldn't have had a petrol! if the 60mpg is going to happen then it's France and back on a tank of fuel. oh la la! thanks. regards Potter

Hi, Have been on the picasso forum for a while now, but have seen an 54 plate XTR which I thought might replace the pic. anybody had experience good or bad on this model? thought I'd ask the question before I say yes. 29,000 miles approx £6k. any replies appreciated. thanks Potter
