  1. What / how did you do yours? I'm planning on wiring a 5Watt 10ohm resistor between the red and the white wires on the mute dongle, to suppress the relay "thump" when it switches, then use some resistors in line on the red and white to adjust the volume to the "correct" level. Just like this diagram http://www.tamlync.com/jbl/jbl.jpg Will let you know next week how i get on (unless you've already done this!)
  2. I've spent quite a bit of time on the parrot site, learning different ways of doing things, i was hoping to finish the job off this weekend, but unfortunatly the supplier was out of the resistors that i needed so will be next weekend at the earliest. Certainly, i wont stop until i get it in and working properly, and, once that is done, i'll create a little guide as to how to do it and post it everywhere i can find  (its been a complete pain in the rear at the moment - so i'm sure lots of people will appreciate it once i get it working!)
  3. Yikes! - That sounds like a lot of work! I've been reading up else where and it would appear that you can get around the issue by limiting the line signal that is being sent from the parrot kit using resistors wired into the line output. Gonna try it this weekend and see how I get on. Does anyone on this site do fitting guides for things like removing the radio and stuff?? Thanks,
  4. Excellent news, was this with the JBL stereo ???
  5. OOhhhh... Thanks very much, hadn't seen that :) Looks like you cannot use the existing speakers though :o Anyone managed to get a solution installed that DID use the car speakers (don't really want to install a silly little speaker).
  6. Hi all, Just found this site, very nice. :) I've got a 2005 2.0ltr VTR+ Hatch in black its got the JBL upgrade and rear parking sensors, I've had it since new and love it :) I really need to get some sort of Bluetooth phone support for it though, as I hate wearing the little ear pieces so was looking at installing a Parrot CK3100 http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=112175 Has anyone done this, did you run into any problems. Did you need to buy any adaptors? Did the rear parking sensors still work afterwards? Is there any install guides? Another thing, is there a easy / cheap way of getting a replacement glass cover for the front passenger side fog light, as a stone has put a huge crack in mine and i hate paying dealer prices for stuff (£275 for a new front light unit when a bird smashed mine - OUCH!!! :o ) Thanks to all who read this and a huge thanks to anyone who replies. Tam xx
