iannez your £350 estimate is including timing belt?? also should i go to my dealer to to do all this (which most likely cost more) last time (2 years ago) it cost around £200 for full service or should i just go and do it in a independent garage? does it really matter to have a manufacturer service history if i do sell it off in the future as the car is getting old anyway would people bother that the service been done in a main dealer?? thanks for the advices guys really appreciate it

well they haven't serviced my car for nearly 2 years so maybe they saying my timing belt needs changing by estimating my mileage?? they saying coolant change is gonna be £45 and brake fluid change is £40 are these prices good?? also any1 know what the price would be for a full service? well i wont do any of these thing till around april as thats when my MOT is up so might aswell do them all at that time

hi need some help here i have a C3 1.4 SX, 04 reg brought it 2nd hand about 3 years ago (when it was 11,00 miles) and now with 26,000 miles on the clock my last service was close to 2 years ago i didnt go for a service as the service book say annual service only needed for 20,000 or 2 years so now its due for service MOT and stuff quite soon recenctly i got a few letters from Citreon dealer saying my brake fluid needs changing, coolant needs changing and just today, my timing belt needs changing so im wondering is my timing really due to be changed?? whats the life span of a C3 1.4 timing belt?? and if i do need to change it whats the price am i looking at?? thanks

Hi Need some help here guys this should be a simple question but i better give more details here I had a Pioneer CD player installed on my C3 and they installed a Stalk Adapter aswell (a few years back) around July (when it was very hot) my CD player shuts it self down for a few minutes and comes back on again while driving it happened a few times so i went back to the place i had it installed as with problems like this it was hard to find the problem and he said it might be the stalk adapter having problems so he said he'll have the power bypass the stalk adapter and ask me to see if the problem persists if not he think its the adapters problem with him doing this the CD player doesn't shut itself down when i turn the car off and i have to manually press the power button on the CD player or take the face plate off anyway it havent happened recently but it never did happen alot and i always suspect it only happens on very hot days (overheat problem or aircon??) just last week my car battery needed changing and i dunno if its because the CD player kept pulling power (as i had a ipod connected so it keeps charging) anyway now i want to have the wiring the same as before any1 would be able to help me?? these are the pics of the connections on my CD player and the wires i suspects are the 1 i need changing http://homepage.ntlworld.com/cwshek/C3/Big%20Overview.JPG http://homepage.ntlworld.com/cwshek/C3/CD%20player.JPG BTW the guy only added 1 Y yellow wire any1 got any idea which wiring i need to change??

im going change the head unit soon been put off doing it myself and was lazy and sold off the sony 1 thinking of buying a new head unit and getting it done in Halfords (even though i know it will most likely be over priced) or get it done by a local shop but i read from somewhere that i need to have the unit removed from citroen before i can put a new 1 in something to do with using citroen diagnostic tools to tell the computer that the original head unit has been removed would halfords be able to do this?? i dont want something to happen like this thread to happen

Hi any1 know much about changing in-car CD player?? i got a Sony CD player (CDXGT200) as a present before i even got the car now that i brought a C3 i dunno how to change it is it straight forward?? how do i remove the original?? i see 4 holes (1 at each corner) do i need to stick something into all 4 holes?? think i need to buy extra adapters to get everything working?? and if so what adapters??
