Hi, I have recently bought a xsara 1.4i LX 1997 and have a problem with central locking From what I have discovered, the mechanism behind the lock barrel is missing and the solenoid is not working correctly. What happens when I re-connect the solenoid is that the car will lock and un lock as you would expect. only that if you repeat the lock-unlock a few times the drivers side door will "open". As a result it will not close until I disconnect it and lift some lever <- (sorry about the description). I need to replace these parts but I would like to know a couple of questions; If these parts can be obtained from any other Citroen or are they unique to the xsara? Would it be OK for second hand parts? Thanks for your time. Mark.
