I know absolutely nothing about cars so feel free to laugh at me if I'm no help or say something ridiculous! I had the same problem when I first got my Saxo and went for months feeling like a pathetic girly who couldn't always get her car in reverse. Then my little sis started learning to drive and mentioned that her driving instructor told her to do something weird with the clutch before putting the car into reverse. I can't remember the reason she gave but it works for me so I don't care why. If I can't get it into reverse, usually when I've just started the car, I put it into neutral again and take my foot off the clutch. Try again and it goes in easily. Might work for you? Rach
