Get straight off to the Dealer and tell them it started on Christmas eve and you haven't been able to get there till now.

 

Make sure they agree to fix it under warranty before letting them loose on it first tho'.

 

I hope this isn't the start of many C1 Airbag light issues, it seems to have affected many many cars over the years.

It was a no go they said that the warranty had run out a that was that. I will try breaking and make a few connections a and see if that works.

My wifes c1 rythhm has just turned 3 on the 29th dec, then on the 2nd jan, 4 days outside warrenty the air bag sign started to flash on and off. I wonder if anyone has any idea how to fix this problem.

The garage said it was a vent behind the bumper that was leaking, so they replaced it then water tested it. But found it was still leaking so are keeping it until monday for further tests.Can not fault them though as they have kept me informed and not tried to fob me off.

Got the car back today, apparantly it was the vents behind the rear bumper they resealed the vent again and retested it now it seems ok. A little bit more of this rain should put it to the test, but as i stands the boot it bone dry.

I bought a brand new Citroen C1 from Merthyr in June 06 and I hve had nothing but trouble ever since. 3Weeks after i had the car all the electrics had to be re set. I woke up one January morning to find the car full of water so rang the garage and had to wait 2 weeks before they could even look at it. I had mould, dew and muck growing all over the carpet and the smell was disgusting. They gave me it back ten days later only for me to find after 3 days teh car full of water yet again. Rang the garage again who told me they needed to import Specially Modified Seals in from France so it would be at lest 4 week but 2 days later they rang me and said the car was eady to be picked up. I woke up this morning to find the car leaking yet again. Rang the garage who advised they cannot do anything further to help me. This is 3 times in a short spce of time and i am at my wits end. Please help. Does ne one know a solution to this or does anyone know n e 1 who is having the same problem?

 

I would advise people to not have this car because it is like the car Jack Built. Absolutely disgusted with it. Worst car citroen has brought out.

After all this rain off last week i just noticed my wifes 5 door Rhythm has a leak around the boot area. The mat in the boot is soaking and some water in the spare wheel well.I had a look around and found the rear washer feed not connected but i dont think this is the fault, i think it could be the boot seal it looks a little suspect at the top. Taking back to the garage tomorrow for them to look at but it was purchased from a Ford garage, but only 18 months old so should still under Citreon warrenty.Let you know how i get on.

You were correct they can only do 12 months so thats what they gave her which is a bonus.She made up with the car and i must admit i am flying around town in it myself only thing i am not to keen on is excessive road noise on uneven roads.But only a small niggle overall its a cocker.

I will let you know it was purchased from a ford garage so they may not have dealt with that band before bonus if i get twelve :angry: .

My name is brian my wife has just bought a c1 rthyhm for herself. She picks it up sunday its second hand but has only done 1400 miles so in my book its as good as new.I must admit i was surprised by the car when we took it out, its just what she was looking for it will be idle for buzzing around town.she is not keen on driving our car :lol: so this should be just the ticket. On reading other peoples feedback about them i think she has made a sound choice. I will let you no what she thinks in time.The stealers said they would put 6 months road tax on it ,which i thought was generous :blink: until i found out its only £17.50 :lol:
