This is obviously way out there. But if you were going to turbo/supercharge the engine. And where willing to spend all that money. Would it not be better to stick a 2l turbo say from a written of impreza or evo. Parts are alot easier to get. i.e. gearbox and clutch. Plus the engine can handle the power and the turbo is already there

I was told the same thing. So use water until thats all is left and then start using anti freeze but youll be ok for the summer. Most people ive asked have just said use water and if its not working start using anti freeze

I can honestly say my kenwood :unsure: wouldnt have bought it new too much money for it. But it is perfect. And kids wont be happy watching fuzzy stuff. Mine even has perfect signal through tinted windows

mine are lowered 30mm. I have a friend who lowered his 35/45mm i prefer the look of that one but with all the extra weight in my car it is sitting nicely. £50 for the springs from europerformance.com

I lost parking sensor audio warning, but still have visual. I lost steering controls but am actually sourcing a connects2 adapter. For speakers. Well to be fair they should all be good these days with all the dif technology. But my reciever never fuss. Only problem is odd screech in the background as the audio signal is weak. But i put that down to my tinted windows

I would recommend kenwood. They do the best recievers and you can now get digital tv (freeview) too. I even have a playstation 2 in my car. I use a flip out tv headunit you probably wont want that though

I was the same. Its only noticable on close inspection. I had use wet and dry and a file to sand it down slightly. Problem with using another trim is the heat the exhaust creates and it will only melt something touching it, i cant fill it in

is it the 1.6 or 2.0 vtr

go wild put a v6 in....go wild put a v10 in....get something supercharged :D generally its not as simple as taking one engine out and putting another in, unfortunately.....youll need to pay a pro alot of money to change all the bits and bobs. It would be cheaper to sell and buy a VTS rather than do an engine conversion. Never mind the problems with insurance afterwards.....So to be the voice of reason here....but if its a faster c4 you want the 2.0 180 isnt the way to go

yeah wozza is correct. my car is around 170 bhp. although first gear is very slow, 2 right up to 6th has alot of power. i change up just after 4000rpm before the turbo lag comes in. my car has been lowered, it handles very well. ive never driven the petrol but i know my diesel is fast and grips the road well. its 0-60 in about 9 seconds and will do about an extra 20mpg. deffo the better option over the petrol.....if you an deal with the diesel note - like it :D PS surely if you wanted good driving experience go buy an exige or something, its faster than your c4 and will do better mpg as well.

like mike says uprating parts is best bet. a remap and cda could increase by around 18+ bhp

theres loads you can do. New intercooler, straight through exhaust, CDA air filter...then a remap. New turbo put in....engine conversion if you have the money the possibilities are endless..... but why not just buy a lotus exige?

The body kit im interested in is only a front bumper see below. Remap made a good bit of difference to high end power but with regards to acceleration pretty much the same tbh not MUCH difference but a bit. Brakes only paint and air filter is only a fanel filter, itll just keep the engine cleaner basically. Less ***oops*** getting in. The neons will look good, and be subtle beside if i dont like them its not hard to remove :) Ill take pics tomorrow when the suspension is dropped. Youll see its not chavvy

I have a 2.0 hdi VTS c4 coupe. So far: Remapped New panel Filter Red brakes Window Tints New custom Tail pipe Citroen VTS spoiler added Happening in next month or so: Springs added New lighting to floor wells (neon blue) 12" sub, amp, and all speaker upgrades along with a motorised dvd head unit. To come: Mono amp and 2 addition subs, along with rear view camera and sat nav for head unit. Hopefully a upgraded turbo Possibly new front bumper It would be interested to hear other peoples ideas etc I do have some others but im keeping them a secret for now.
