    Pugcit Breakers

Well im sorry to say but after contacting Breakyard.com team 3 times i have had no reply and so i have to assume they dont care about who gets ripped off. Pugcit are one of there clients and seeing as pugcit pay them they would stick with pugcit and ignore any complaints against them.

    New Wheel

Had a bit of a slide in the snow and banged my wheel on the kerb and dented my rim. Can anyone reccomend a good honest reliable company online that sell wheels for the C1. Can wheels be fixed or is it best to buy a new one? Now i have to go out in the snow and put the spare on, i just hope its a full wheel/tyre and not one of those get you home jobbies.

    Pugcit Breakers

Ive been contacted by pugcit after giving them a negative feedback and they offered me £10 and to remove the negative feedback i had posted. Once again they were rude and told me it was my fault and i was a moaner. Ive now been contacted by the Breakyard.com team and they have a number of scrapyards who they deal with inluding pugcit who use them. Im now hoping i may get something done at last and pugcit may have to refund me. All i wanted was a replacement seat that would fit in my car so i could enjoy driving it. What i dident expect was to be ripped off and treeated badly and end up with a seat that was not fit for purpose. Watch this space to see if the Breakyard.com team do help me get a refund or just ignore me in the end.

    Pugcit Breakers

No joy with my credit card company Barclay card helping me out so it looks like trading standards and the sale of goods act letter to pugcit. Ill have to pay to send the seat back then fight tooth and nail to get a full refund. How come these cowboys are allowed to rip people off like this.
  5. Beware of pugcity breakers as they send you broken dirty items and refuse to accept the item if you send it back. I ordered a c3 seat from them and it was greasy and dirty and full of dog hairs. After i had cleaned it up and tried to fit it i discovered 2 of the holes did not match. After ringing them i got some cocky guy on the other end who hung up on me twice and refused to refund my money. Ive also found out that others have sent items back and they have refused them or denied having recieved them. Anyone lucky inough to get a refund have 25% deducted for restocking purposes. The addy is Unit 1 fleetwood road padiham near burnley. They are also known as Peugeot & citroen brakers. I am now having to go through trading standards and my credit card company to get a full refund.

  7. Ive bought a c3 with 25,000 miles on the clock and its starting to give and the support is poor due to the foam being split. Shoud a car seat be in this condition after only 25000 miles? Im wondering if my seats were switched from a higher milage car! Ive informed Citroen and they say the car is out of warrenty so i have no claim. Looks like ill have to hunt round the scrappers for a replacement.
  8. Need to replace my c3 drivers seat as the foam as given way and on longish drives i can feel the seat framework digging into my leg . Ive ordered a second hand seat via the internet from a scrapyard and im trying to find instructions on how to remove the seat and fit the replacement in. Any instructions with pictures would be great as ive never replaced a car seat before. The seat ive bought is on its runners so im expecting ill only need to remove the electric seat belt sensor and the screws holding the seat in. Any help or tips would be appreciated.
  9. Well i must say it performed brillianly on the motorway and was a very enjoyable journey.
  10. Yes Colin yer right, i slip the clutch a bit now so the revs climb then shoot out. Its just a case of getting used to how a 3 cylinder runs.
  11. Well after having the C1 for a few weeks now im getting more used to its ways and ive noticed you learn to sit more riged and brace yourself when giving the C1 some stick through corners and roundabouts e.t.c When i first got it i noticed it tended to throw me about a bit as i dident know how to sit right in it and balance myself. I was going down a dual cairrage way and overtaking a couple of cars and i was astounded that i was doing 90 m.p.h in it and it felt more like 65/70. Doing 30 in it feels oh so slow. Anyway ill see how she fares on a 80 mile motorway jaunt and hopefully the road noise wont be too loud, and if it is ill just turn the cd player up

    Bug Splat

The only time i spent any effort or money on modding/making something look nice was when i was into motorbikes more than 20 years ago(jeez where did the time go!) as you get older(im almost 50) you cant be Ars** spending ages cleaning and polishing a car. I wish i felt like you Acra and did spend time on my C1 making it look nice. I bey your only a young lad with lots of drive and energy still. We have not gone too far in our C1 but tomorrow we are taking it on a 200 mile round trip to see family in Wakefield. Our peugeot 306 can stay in the drive this time. Actually our C1 needs a good wash as the wife as been using it the last few days and she never ever washes and cleans our cars.
  13. That was a good read Martin and so true., i enjoyed that .

Dont know about 8 grand, more like 5.8. The C1 is a plastic cheap car, thats not a bad thing as its got lots going for it. But mine gets a basic wash and shampoo and thats it, it gets me from A to B and is not a extension of my manhood or a object of worship. Dont get me wrong its a great car for the price but i aint gonna spend hours polishing it or adding go faster stripes.

    Petrol Gauge

Wow thats amazing, 400 miles on £26 of petrol You must drive it real steady and nice I get about 400+ miles on £30 of petrol if im lucky. What are other C1 owners getting to a full tank.?

    Harsh Drive

Today i enjoyed driving the C1, becouse i was not so tired after work and i had a steady drive home instead of throwing it about as i sometimes do. I reckon its going to be one of those cars that you sometimes enjoy and other times find hard work depending on your mood and where you are driving it.

    Harsh Drive

Yes thats why i bought it, becouse of the Toyota engine.

    Harsh Drive

Had the C1 for nearly 3 months now and its a very harsh quirky drive at times. It doesent soak up bumps very well and the steering can sometimes be quite vague. Its not a car to drive if your feeling Physically tired after a 12 hour shift. The seats should have been softer and more moulded as you have to brace yourself if your cornering with any speed. Its not a bad car for the price but not one i can say i really enjoy driving. Jumped in my old peugeot 106 today after not driving it for 3 months (gave it to my daughter when i got the c1) and although its an old tired car it did feel nicer to drive than the c1 even if the steering is a little heavy. Im wondering what the c1 will handle like in winter with ice and frost, i reckon it will be a bit skittish. Yes i reckon had the C1 had softer suspension and better seats it would be a lot nicer to drive. Lets hope mine softens up abit with more milage on the clock.
  19. When pulling away from junctions my C1 can sometimes be a bit flat and slow to respond. It may be becouse its only a 3 cylinder engine? It is a bit annoying when you pull out into a gap and the thing seems to tootle out with a fast approaching car heading your way. Had it in for first service today as its done 1281 miles and i mentioned the sluggish pulling away but they never said owt when they handed me my keys back 30 mins later.
  20. Was going to buy a second hand Toyota Yaris intil i discovered that C1 had a Toyota engine and was a lot cheaper . Bought a nice new Vibe for £5.500 and i think its a smart looking supermini with a lot going for it and so economical. One question i have is how many miles can you do once the bottom petrol gauge indicator as started to flash? Also how many miles are folk getting from a full tank.?
