Hi there, I have to replace the pads (and discs) on my 2002 1.8 C5. I understand that Haynes do not do a C5 manual. On a previous C5 I visited the garage while a mechanic was doing this job and I thought I remembered him saying that he had lost his brake tool so the job took a long time. Can anyone tell me if I need a tool to rewind the caliper and if so what is it called and where can I get one. Some calipers I have done in the past work with the brute force leverage method.(I know this method. Wife says I can lift heavy things but am not too bright so this method suits me) Others have needed to be screwed one way or the other. ( Long nose pliers) Any advice on this will be most welcome.
