Bought my 2001 c5 as a great tow car, which it is, if only they had decent electrics. First problem: a year ago, tried to start in gear, immobiliser would not cancel and car would not start, local citroen specialist could find nothing wrong, put fuel in and charged the battery hey presto it worked. Then realised that if I did not wait til dash lights went off, it would not start, and had to wait 30 seconds for key fob to be recieved, then it would start. Next problem: I forgot to wait for the dash lights to go out and would not start, even after waiting it would not start. So remembered what the garage had done and put fuel in and charged the battery - it started!!! next problem exactly as above, this time just put fuel in and it started. next problem but I then just waited for a couple of hours and it started. Today, waited for dash lights to go out and nothing, waited to use the key and nothing, so had a can of diesel in the boot, put some in and it started. Occassionally, during the periods when it wont start it will say immobiliser fault on the dash. HELP, before I take to mt garage who plugs it in and it says nothing wrong. GY
