  1. I was wondering if any particular fuel company diesel was better than another. I was thinking of trying one of the "low sulphar" brands. There isn't smoke from the exhaust. Thanks for your advise
  2. I use my car Sunday and Wednesday. Each day it does 126 miles from Kent to Cheltenham (M20, M26, M25, M4, A419). It doesn't smoke at all. I have booked it in at my local citroen dealer for an hour check on their computer diagnostic machine. May show up something? Thanks to all for your advise.
  3. Thanks for your advise, but do you know what your emission figures are before doing said treatment? It could be all four of your cars are well within the emission limits even before doing what you suggest.
  4. My 02 reg C5 2.0HDi has failed the MOT on exhaust emissions. I have been told by the main dealer my car does not have a particle filter so that is not to fault. I have changed oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter with no effect. There are no warning signs on the dash. Does anybody have any other idea? Catalytic converter maybe? Does anybody know how I would go about adjusting the emissions? Thanks for reading/replying.
  5. On my 02 reg C5 2.0 HDi the right column control stick is pulled towards the driver to activate the front screen washers and a small section on the end is rotated to activate rear screen washer/wiper. It has worked perfectly but now when I pull the control stick towards me the rear wash/wipe is activated. If I rotate the small section on the end of the stick again the rear wash/wipe is activated. The car did this once before but after a few days corrected itself. This time it has been over a week. Has anybody else experienced this problem? How is it fixed? This could be a mojor problem as I assume no front screen washer will be an MOT failure. Thanks.
  6. I have a problem with my 02 reg, C5 Estate, 2.0HDi which is happening more frequently now. It happens in one of 2 ways. Whilst driving along the motorway, momentarily either every dash warning light illuminates and then goes out and the service light stays or whilst driving at night all electrical power is momentarily lost and returns, again with the service light staying illuminated. When power returns the radio and heater/air condition settings are lost. I have checked security of battery connections and eart points as best I can. Has anybody else experienced anything like this?
