I have the 1.4 SX C3, four weeks old, (manual- petrol) and it is a lovely car, however one thing I have noticed and I wonder if its a common fault or just a problem with my car. When I pull away am speeding up, each time I take my foot of the accelerator and press the clutch to change up the gear, the engine revs very fast as if my foot is still on the gas. The only way around it is to take my foot of the accelerator and pause briefly before pressing the clutch. It feels as if the throttle is sticking or something you can actually see the rev counter go up when you press the clutch pedal in even though I'm not pressing the accelerator. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just a case of spraying the cable with some WD40? Cheers
