Well I dont own one, but I have one at the moment as a courtesy car and I noticed the rattle too but only when they're open.

Well... took the Pluriel in today for another leak fix, and asked what price they would give me for the car. The salesman was falling over himself trying not to lose me as a customer and is now trying to talk me into a C2 VTR with top spec which they have in stock brand new. The price on the screen is over 13K and the manager is offering it to me for 4500 plus the Pluriel! Which means that in effect he's prepared to give me £9000 trade in to keep my custom! Which would be great except I'm not that keen on the C2 and my girlfriend hates it, but at least it gives me more bargaining power (have passed the details to the Mini dealership and told them to up their offer or I go elsewhere) :blink: Happy bargain hunting everyone!

How depressing... I went to test drive a Mini Convertible yesterday (ie not cheap) and was offered £5300 for my Pluriel (June 03 1.4 with 7300 miles on the clock) :blink: I got more than that trading in a 2.5 year old Peugeot 206 with 25000 on the clock when I bought the Pluriel. Time to cut my losses I think and get shot of it whilst I can still get THAT much! For a car to lose almost £7500 in 17 months is shocking! My only hope is that my Citroen dealer might be able to offer me more to buy it back, and then be able to sell it on their own forecourt. Plus, according to one of the car mags I was browsing in a shop yesterday you can pick up a brand new Pluriel now for around £9000..... :D
