  1. Hi all, am returning to ask for your help once more as my 05 C3 is again giving me grief! (Clutch judder when pulling away on a hill still driving me crackers btw) Recently arrived at my destination after a 30 minute drive to find my left calf and foot were very hot. Strange, I thought...until I realised that (despite the fan selector being on Windscreen), there was a trickle of hot air coming from the vent that's mounted on the side of the centre console below the gearstick, pointing into the footwell. After more checking, also found that a trickle is coming from the two Face vents on the dashboard, as well of course as the expected heat onto the windscreen. Rang three different Citroen dealers for their opinion/advice, and got three completely different answers, all of which culminated in "bring it in, we'll investigate" - dread to think about the cost. Anyone else got a similar problem? My other half thinks the diverter is on the blink and would like to take a look but all the garages screamed that we must not fiddle with the fascia or dashboard as it's a highly complex piece of work (huh?). Any help/thoughts very welcome.
  2. Hi, newbie here so please be gentle with me  I've recently bought an 05 C3 1.4 Desire with 12,000m on the clock, and I love it. Well, all except the clutch problem anyway! Basically I get a shocking judder, the whole front of the car shakes violently. It's not always as bad though, it seems to vary. It's practically every time I drive it, always when pulling away from a standstill, so when parked, or at junctions. My dad thinks its me as "it's a heavier car than your previous one (a Pug 206) so needs to be treated more gently, just take it slowly, you are too snappy with your clutch", but I've driven another C3, my partner's Mondeo and indeed my 6 previous cars and have never had this problem (I'm 26 and have been driving since 17 so there's no issue there!). I approached the dealer and they said they could look at if I wanted but it would cost best part of £100. If it was proved there was a fault it would be covered under guarantee, but if not I'm lumbered with a bill. Surely they can't charge me for guarantee work? Anyway, first questions first - is it me or is it a fault? Any advice would be gratefully received?
