As my previous post has been up for a year it would seem its one of those 'strange' Berlingo wiring quirks. Perhaps i can ask another question. Having tried another Cd player I suspect that that the problem is with the steering mounted audio controls. Would anyone know how to disconnect them so that they don't link to the Cd player? Thanks

I was wondering if anyone can possibly answer my query. I purchased my 1st Berlingo (Desire) from a dealer but it only had a radio cassette. I sourced a Cd radio from ebay and had it VIN'd. Unfortunately after a few seconds the volume starts to increase rapidly on its own accord. Don't know if this is the player or a stalk control issue. Can anyone help as not getting much joy from dealers. Thanks
