Hi - just read the post in another thread about a problem with the anti-pollution system and wanted to check if anyone else had had problems in the C8 diesel. We've had ours (2.0 SX) for 18 months. No probs in that time, apart from ghastly fuel consumption (29mpg average). But a month ago it started having this power loss problem and threw up a anti-pollution light. Took it to Belmont Citroen in Edinburgh, who cleaned some electrovalve and sent us on our way - ie as predicted by citroenmyarse. Seemed ok again for a few weeks, but last week started happening again. It's scary stuff - you'll be pulling onto a roundabout, or out onto a dual carriageway and suddenly the revs drop down to about 1000 and you're coasting. It usually clears itself again after around 10-20 seconds, but for that time, you're stranded, basically a sitting target for anyone behind you. Anyway, it's going back into Belmont today to get the same valve replaced - again as predicted. I'll let them know about the exhaust sensor insulation problem mentioned in the other thread. Anyone else had a similar problem? Ian
